I have huge calves and since I found YLF I realize that I, too, can own tall boots, yay!

I have been on duo boots website looking around and really like the Gravina style in tan leather.

I just have a few questions:
1. Do you think the heel is too ¨clunky¨ to wear with skirts or dresses?
2. I am a curvy size 16/18 (hourglass or apple, to be confirmed), never worn straight or skinny jeans, but LOOOVE the look. Do you think I can pull it off? I lust for tall boots but worry I cannot wear the look.
3. Does anyone own this pair of boots by chance? Any feedback would be great.

These are great boots, and yes they will look super with skirts and casual dresses.
I think you should be able to pull off the skinny jean look tucked into these boots, just make sure that your top balances out the bottom. Maybe a structured cardigan with a blouse or top underneath, and a longish scarf to accentuate your height.

Those look like great boots. Not at all too clunky for skirts and dresses. I second missvee about balance. That's the one thing about the skinny jean look.

Love these boots. I think that they would be great with the looks that you are mentioning. I am planning my own purchase of boots to wear with skinnies so I am planning on them working for my shape. fingers crossed...

These boots are gorgeous. It's hard to get boots that go with both skirts and jeans. I would love to see them with tucked skinnies. It would be an amazing look.

These boots are beautiful - gorgeous colour and style. They'll look fabulous with skinnies tucked into them and yes, you can pull off that look!

Ahhhh, I am so excited now! I really, really want these boots. I have to save up a bit more dough to be able to afford them, though.

If and when I get them I will be sure to report back perhaps even with some pictures

As for the comments about balance, perhaps that is what I have been doing wrong all along with the skinnies/straight leg jeans. I am now thinking of a flowy top with a structured jacket over it, because I do need some structure...paired with skinny jeans tucked into the boots, maybe even a scarf to draw the eye up and down (good slimming effect).
