Books I have enjoyed reading.

3 years ago, while I was busy looking for something to read at my local library ( a month before the birth of my almost 4 years old son) I came across the following books. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, A Thousand Splendid Suns - by Khaled Hosseini, and Confessions of A Gambler by Rayda Jacobs. I'm thinking of reading these books again as I thoroughly enjoyed them.

Loved Memoirs of a Geisha and The Kite Runner. Haven't read the other two. Thanks for the recommendations.

Fun, I always love reading suggestions! And I too like to re-read my favourite books. I've had "Memoirs of a Geisha" on my to read list for ages, thanks for reminding me. People have told me it's a fascinating read.

Thanks for the recommendations! I loved Memoirs of a G.and the Kite Runner! Will put the others on my list....I am so busy I only have time to read a couple pages before I fall asleep but love to have a good book on my nightstand!

I really enjoyed the young adult book, "Princess Academy" by Shannon Hale. It is thrilling with great characterization.
