Bookending... Suggestions for boots

I have dark colored hair (as seen in photos)... Is black the only option for the boots... I am not very found of black footwear...

So I wanted help in colors that would bookend my hair

Dark burgundy, dark chocolate browns, maybe navy (not that it is easy to find a navy boot).

And you don't have to bookend your hair. You can bookend another article of clothing that you are wearing up top. So really, the world is your oyster! Teal, dark green, cognac. Anything!

No I don't think that black is your only option. Any of the darker colours will have a similar book ending effect, and if you like light coloured footwear, then you could repeat the lighter colour elsewhere in your outfit, maybe in a scarf. I think it's about creating balance in a look. But I also like a pair of brightly coloured shoes for an accent to an otherwise neutral outfit. Sometimes the unexpected works better than you might think. Your best option here is to buy lots and lots of shoes and just experiment : - )

I have dark colored hair and don't like black footwear that much either... The only black riding boot I have has dark brown 'cuff' on top, but other than, I have a pair in burgundy, rich cognac and a new light brown pair. You can find a cute scarf to pick up the color of the footwear to bookend.

As they stated above, you can choose any color and bookend with your outfit or accessories. However, the magic of using your hair color is that the shoes/boots are automatically "bookended".
I didn't see it until I got dark chocolate boots - I can literally wear them with anything, still look put together, and they make my hair look better (ok, maybe more noticeable).
