Sarah: That article is so clearly expands the concept of bookending and I had never seen it before, so thank you for recommending it to me. I discovered last summer how gray/black necklaces work well with my gray/black sandals and use that combo often but never really connected what I was doing to bookending, but of course, it is exactly it. Expanding that trick to scarves will be easy and fun.
UmmLila, MsMary, JAileen, Firecracker: Thanks so much for suggesting specific shoes that work for you. Some of my favorite clothes have been bought after lurking on this site and copying other members for the past 6 months, so I decided to come out and ask for help with my new capsule. I plan to purchase one pair of shoes a month starting in January, so if anyone else has suggestions, please help. Shoes fit different people different ways and although my feet aren't particularly fussy, but they do prefer low heels.
