Nothing against the stylist personally. I just can't buy what the store doesn't have, and once again my Nordstroms just does not live up to the chain hype. About the stylist, the disappointment was that she did not really listen to what I was saying and interrupted constantly so I never could feel like we had a real discussion.
There is also the problem of what I want being so out of style...or according to Angie, just beginning to come in style, which means it won't reach my area for a few more years. Add in my health and fit problems and I didn't have high hopes.
I wanted a pair of black trousers in bootcut or flare, with a mid rise and some room in the crotch. She had five pairs for me to try on and that was the extent of the inventory. Honestly, they had more choices at Loft.
Of the choices she had, I half liked a pair of NYDJ ponte for comfort only. I didn't like how I looked in them and they were more of the "mini- boot" variety, so no happiness factor and not much of a solution. So I left them there and that was all. Oh well. If what I'm looking for is so out of style, maybe I should try thrifting.
