I went and did a little shopping and snapped a dressing room photo of what I wore to shop. I think this is bold, but I also feel plain in it...this is just some of my haphazard, RATE, pretend punk Native Wear 'styling.' It's maybe a little girlish, but it's what I got in terms of crazy vertical stripes. One bonus pic of de rigeur beanie...hehe.

I bought these fake flat rock studs earlier. They go with nothing, but don't hurt my foot without being positively orthopedic. Ha!

Fun take on stripes, Rachylou! I think this is quirky waif with a retro streak. The shoes are great--I'm so glad you have a pair that are cute and kind to your feet. And what are you talking about--they go with this outfit for sure, and I bet a lot more, too.
I am now picturing this outfit with some fab sunglasses, too. Cat-eye would be good, but maybe you have something else up your sleeve? (I'm wondering if cat-eye is too expected for you, that's all. You always come up with combinations I wouldn't think of--like red stripes and black stripes together!)

In that case forget the cat-eye glasses, you need an actual cat you can drape around your neck. Or was that a fox? Something that broadcasts your old-lady eccentric hipness. You will be legendary--I can see you're just getting started here.

Mochi, I've told y'all about one of my fave books as a child? Very controversial, because the name of the family in it is the Stupids. But the mom wears the cat on her head for a hat! Lol.

Oh parents beware: the problem is never what you think it is. If your child is fashion oriented, you just don't know what you'll be fomenting!

I think the outfit is really great! I especially like your shoes and think those would go with almost everything. The colors are fairly neutral and they're nice and flat.
