Why is it so difficult to figure out our own body type???
Finally decided I would ask for help to figure out my body type. (eyes closed)
Thank you for the great site. I really enjoy all of the photos, questions and advice.

Hmm..I'm going to guess Racy Rectangle, but I'm not totally sure.

Welcome and thanks for posting a pic. I’m with the gals, racy rectangle. If you wear a smaller size on the bottom, you’ve got inverted triangle tendencies. Does that make sense?

I am 31 years old. I have 3 daughters my oldest just turned 13 and my youngest just turned 5. I also have a 12 year old. I am 5'3". "Summer" coloring. I normally wear petite xs shirts and 0-2 shorts. (Ann Taylor Loft and
J. Crew) I love the look of the mom on the go outfits but don't think I could pull off an a- line skirt. Is it because i am rectangular?

You could pull of the mom-on-the-go look with a fuller skirt (like the white and yellow one pictured in the blog post) or with a denim pencil skirt.

I think fuller skirts look great on racy rectangles! They emphasize your curves, which is great for your body type.
