Hello, everyone,

I'm having trouble finding clothes that compliment my body, so I figured it would be helpful if I found out what type of body I have, then move from there. Thanks for your help in advance.

I think inverted triangle with hourglass tendencies.

I see a type of hourglass. Actually your body looks a bit like mine... would you say you're short waisted?

I would say inverted triangle. Your waist is a bit more defined than many inverted triangles though, probably because you are so slim.

I've always felt kind of rectangular in shape, but it's interesting to see how no one else thinks that. Thanks for y'alls help!

I would guess hourglass with rectangular tendencies. Have you taken your measurements and looked at it by the numbers? I think the guideline I remember is if you have 10" or more between your bust/hips and waist, then you're closer to hourglass. Either way, you have a nice figure!

Short waisted is when your waist falls a big higher on your body, in other words a relatively short torso and longer legs.

Thank you everyone! I'm going with a short-waisted, hourglass figure. That changes my whole perspective on how I should dress. I guess what I'm still concerned about when researching hourglasses, is that they're depicted as voluptuous, and I definitely don't have a chest, so creating deep v-lines leaves this massive amount of bare space visible between my neck and chest. Also suggested was for hourglasses to wear heels, and various other clothing pieces, in order to elongate their bodies. However, I'm 5'11" so that's not really an issue. I guess I'll just have to try things out! Thanks, again, for your help everyone!
