Boden sizing

Hi Ladies! I hope you've all had a great weekend. I'm trying to stay WARM. It's very chilly here in Seattle!

I've been looking for a dress like this one at Boden - anybody know how their sizes run?

I'm usually between a 4 - 6 in dresses depending on the store. And - have you seen anything similar somewhere that I could try it on in person?

It's lovely....sorry, the only thing I bought at Bodens was a coat, which fit TTS, but you can check the measurements online...I see they have free shipping and returns right now.

I wear a lot of Boden dresses. I'm a pretty solid 4 across the board at most places. Boden 4 usually fits me very well.

The only time I size up with Boden dresses is when the dress is a viscose or other, less 'giving' material that jersely/knit. I have found some of their dresses of this type to be a bit tight around the ribcage. Not the bust-- just underneath.

I love that dress!!

Thanks Steffie - that is helpful. I'm wondering about the lower 1/2 because I'm a pear. Do you usually wear a 4 at Ann Taylor/BR etc?

Ann Taylor is one of those stores where I find I must size down. There I'm usually a 2.

I am not a pear exactly but I have a big bottom and thighs and I have not had any fit issues with Boden dresses. If they fit my shoulders and waist, the bottom half hasn't been an issue.

Like Steffie, the only fit problems I've had with Boden have been on top, in the ribcage area. It's as if they cut small there. Necklines can be very revealing also. With free shipping and free returns, I usually order 2 sizes to compare.
