Boden jeans and floral top - YouLookFab Forum

Some Boden jeans that I ordered have arrived, and I am pleased with them, similar to those Angie posted today. I think these will fill a casual gap. The yellow belt was also new, but I am sending it back, as I realised I have a pinky / coral one that I think is better.

I wondered what you thought of the floral top? I would wear with blue jeans, or white jeans. I wondered if the background blue was a bit off colour wise.

It is a very relaxed hair and make up day today - I'm having an easy day!

On the dressing table theme, I joined Sarah The White and Janet with a new to me dressing table. It is so lovely to sit at in the morning getting ready! My DH sub-divided the bottom large draw, so that I can keep all my tights, knickers, socks etc separate.

Jane, you look lovely. It seems that Boden is doing a great job this season with a lot of lovely items. It has just become possible to order into Canada (though at a rather high cost) so I am eager to try.

The jeans look great! Will you leave full length or crop them? Or perhaps the olive ones are cropped already? We can't see the bottoms (unless they are same as the ones with blue top -- does not look like it, on my screen).

The blue top is gorgeous and a pretty, relaxed cut but I agree it may be a bit on the cool side for your colouring. It's awfully hard to know for sure, though, with lighting differences and so on. I would trust your gut -- if it feels off to you, it probably is. Perhaps they have another colour, though, because it is very nice on you.

Thanks Suz. The jeans are ankle length, which I am okay with on this occasion, I think. I have two pairs of cropped white, hence I may well keep at ankle length. Yes, the style of the blouse is good, but I think you could be right about the colour. I like Boden, but I do need to be careful in choosing, I kind of get drawn into their photos, and descriptions very easily, and then I think that I could be 25 and teeny tiny again just at the purchase of a pair of jeans - if you know what I mean! Thank you for your thoughts.

Archie, I am coming round to keeping the yellow...It is the felicity top. It has a lovely drape, and is finished off really nicely inside on the seams.

It's a gorgeous top. If it comes in a different colour, try it! I love this very cool tone for myself but since it would cost me $25 just to have it delivered the price is too high, alas...

Those olive jeans look great. Boden is hitting it out of the park in terms of pants fit this year. I've had great success with Boden's jeans and trousers. I'm with Anchie; I really like the pop of that yellow belt against the olive. I'd keep it! The tops looks fine to me, but it sounds like you don't love it.

Your outfits are very nice. I like the print top a lot. I get Boden's catalog because I ordered a poncho from them, but I don't know anything about their sizing. The quality looks nice.
