This is a continuation of my previous post on Boden .l felt it was better to split it up to avoid information overload.
I tried on 2 dresses the first was the jasmine ottoman dress which I tried on in the Navy, regular length ,UK size 10.
This is a nice casual dress. The fit was true to size. The neckline is wide but flattering and didn't scoop too low.The fabric was quite firm but the fit was skimming not fitted and it had 2front pockets.
Next I tried on the Brontë jersey dress. The fabric on this one was softer than the previous dress but the fit was slot bigger. The size 10 was falling off my shoulders so I sized down and this worked well.lf I need to size up its normally to get the fit on my shoulders so I would say that this dress is large across the shoulder line.Might suit ITfigure shapes .If you have a larger bust than me ,and let's face it that won't be difficult ,
then you might find that your bust takes out some of the shoulder width and you don't have to size down but those with narrow shoulders take note.
I tried this dress on in the red and again found it to be a gorgeous bright orange red but it is definitely not a true red.
They did not have the longer length on store but I have ordered this dress in a size 8 in both lengths and I will be keeping one of them.
Lastly I tried on a jumper, the Kendal jumper in grey UK size10.I loved this in the catalogue but found it to be about bulky especially on the sleeves and more rustic looking than I d like from such an expensive jumper.l wondered how well the sleeves would fit into a jacket or coat.Thecolours are lovely and the fabric although it contained wool was not too itchy although I would have to wear something under neath it to be comfortable.
For your info l m 5foot8inches, regular leg length,UK size 10 and would consider myself a rectangular body shape.
Again I hope that you find this useful please feel free to ask any questions that you might have.
