Jeans look great and I love them with the red shoes and sweater. I would fix the back, because as Taylor says, I think they will stretch and the problem will become worse. Otherwise they look perfect!

Those look wonderful on you. Keep and alter the waist. The tee looks worth keeping too. You could have the neckline altered if you wanted to

Gorgeous. I might have to check these out.

They look fab on you . I like the top with them not boxy at all to my eye. Will you be wearing with a heel or with a flat ? Perhaps if you want wear with both you may need an adjustment. Although I'm a bit lazy in that department and tend to tuck mine under if wearing a flat and I want more of an ankle length that day.

I love these jeans on you. I kind of like the current length but a few inches higher wouldn't hurt them either. I'm not sure about the top, the sleeves looks a little long to me.

I think I am keeping the jeans and will wear them as is at first. Can always alter them later if needed.
I am not so sure about top - I somehow feel frumpy in it. I think it is combination of high neck and not very fitted body. When neck is so high I prefer more fitted style, and when is not very fitted then I need little lower neckline, otherwise I feel very blocky. But I did not have time last night to try wearing it under blazers or with scarf, so may give it some more chance before I decide.

I'm back. LOVE the top. Which is it.

Anchie, I did not need to alter the length. It's perfect. Yours looks good too. LOVE THEM WITH THE RED SHOES.

I did have the waist and hips altered to custom-fit. I think that sorted the length.

Angie - top is also Boden, my matchy matchy nature could not resist top in the same color. And shoes are perfect match too I did not even realized that until I started looking for shoes to try jeans with.

Anchie, can you fold the pants up to a couple of different lengths and let us see them? I like the length they are now, but I also really like how Angie has hers (I think she took off 3-4"). It might be a question of playing with what works on your body, and with different footwear.
You might also like to roll them if you want them shorter.

Angie didn't hem her red jeans at all

Angie must have longer legs than me, LOL

LOL! I knew they went to the tailor, just assumed. I know you got SOMETHING hemmed!

Elizabeth P, I had the waist and hips altered to custom-fit. No hemming! You asked about a calf measurement, which I couldn't give you because they were doing THAT alteration. Almost right

Anchie, I don't have long legs. Just regular. A smaller size is usually shorter so that's probably why they work. Yours don't need hemming though.

I didn't notice that "extra" fabric in back in the first photos. Sure, you could pull it back when you tried, but it doesn't look like it gaps. You need a little bit of room back there to be able to sit down.

The top is loose. Wearing it untucked with your yellow rainbow skirt would look like a rumpled pile of fabric (ok, I exaggerate, but do you know what I mean?) But with fitted pants like these, I think the extra fabric is fine, as it softens the whole look. Otherwise it's all structure/body shape.

And I agree with others who say that you look awesome!

Fashintern - thanks Actually the extra fabric in back gaps the most when I sit down, it stands like that without me pulling it. I usually solve this issue with the belt, I don't bother with alternations if I can get away with it.

I love the idea of a head-to-toe color matched outfit! Who makes those heels?

This is minimalism that will turn heads. Add some statement earrings and a big wide bangle bracelet... then let all that color do the talking. I can tell that you hate how you look in the top, so let it go. I actually love it, a high crew neck and near-the-elbow short sleeves - yes, please!!!

Agree that you can alter the waist later. It doesn't look too bad, but it is really about whether the pants stay up properly.

What a fit! Get them in every colour!!

I like the length, love the sweater, and yes to altering the waist. Those jeans look absolutely fabulous on you!
