DS needed new swim trunks, so I placed a Boden order during the Memorial Day sale. Must have shipped from the UK, because the package just arrived today. This is the Phoebe Dress, which Suz modeled for us recently. I couldn't resist the olive polka dots (which, as you can see, match these super casual but super comfy Merrell sandals perfectly -- not intentionally styled, I just wear a lot of olive I guess!).
This is the 4R. It comes to the bottom of my knee, and the waist hits at my belly button, so just below my actual waist. It is a relaxed fit, with just enough shaping -- and the pockets lay beautifully! No bunching or lumps. I can't tell you how many casual dresses I've tried this year with horrible pockets. These are very well designed. I could probably wear a size 2 for a more fitted look, and could probably do a petite for an above-the-knee length, but I think longer and looser is probably the way to go for a casual summer dress, no? What do you think?
I am tempted to go back and order the navy-with-bumblebees while it's still in stock, because this one is ridiculously comfy!
