As opposed to a Mini Boden round-up. *slaps knee*

Ahem. Bad joke aside, I thought I’d review some recent Boden winners. Two are from Angie’s roundup this week and arrived lightning fast.

1. Lorna dress - lightweight and a keeper. Beautiful pattern. This will replace some lesser summer causal dresses I’m passing on. Generally speaking, I am trying to replace some summer items with, well, nicer fabrics. Surprisingly, this is viscose! It feels nice though, and I’ll baby it in the wash. I can wear it to work with a Demi cami and a topper (always needed in the summer). This will mostly be casual though. And it covers bra straps!

2. Ayla top - this color is watermelon IRL. I thought this might be s little too boho at first, but it grew on me and the husband gave the thumbs up too. I did size down per Angie’s suggestion. I think I might keep as a wildcard.

3-4 Helena Cropped Chinos. I hemmed these two inches and they are just back from the tailor. Great light weight casual pants. I wish I wanted one of the other colors. I have enough navy pants and the rust color won’t work in my wardrobe. Olive is a core neutral for me, though. They are a tad roomy but for summer I think that’s fine. It gets very humid here.

5 Bonus! I wore the Leonie dress recently (pre-haircut). The outfit is very Angie inspired. The only difference is that this is dressy, for me. Too warm for summer but great for spring.

I am also expecting the white Rachel Chino shorts and will update when they arrive. White shorts are on my list.
