So it was instant love when Janet posted the Zara embroidered bomber a few weeks ago, and I had to try it. And when it came, I knew it was the perfect segue into the blush trend. Blush is a real departure for me, adn I feel like quite a rebel. It's a colour that looks awful next to my skin, and is NOT on my colour palette. But I like it from afar. Well, when this jacket arrived, blush chinos seemed like such a natural next step. Sure enough within about 10 min, some from BR were on their way to me. I'm totally in love with the idea of a neutral bottom that isn't dark, and isn't white.

Thanks to Angie's ensembles, I knew that beside the usual (white, black, navy) they could work really well with chambray, and tomato red. Here are my initial attempts, very little styling done, but enough to make me realize that I can build a capsule around them.

Thoughts? Other things I should try? Or am I being foolish? Tags are on both, so you can tell me to send both pieces back if you want.

Oh, and the silver sandals have been returned. I waffled and waffled about them, but decided that waffling meant they weren't a 10, and for shoes, only 10's will do.
