Blue shoes, yay or nay

i'm trying to find a pair of baby blue heeled shoes that I can wear with dresses that are comfortable to walk in. Must ship to Canada. I found these on asos, but in addition to the price tag, I'm worried they'll be dated quickly.

Thoughts an/or recs?

Yay from me: Don't know what the price tag is, and yes I imagine they will date quickly -- but wow are they FUN. If it were me, I'd be finding some way to justify them -- like how comfy and stylish they look. And the fact that shoes are a good way to update your wardrobe (something I just learned from Angie's recent post).

Lol enable away. They are $80 which is high for me. My other concern is that they are uk sizing and the last time i ordered shoes from ASOS, the size guide was way off. But they are so cute! I wish I could find something similar closer to home.

Ah, I hear you, Gennifyr! I'm not an online shopper as I can't be bothered to faff about with returns, etc. I suppose you could order a couple of sizes and then return what doesn't work -- I've heard people do that, but again, not me as it's just a chore for me. Are you in the USA? Sometimes Target does a good job of releasing on-trend styles so they may come out with something. Or you could try Zara if you're close to one.

I think they are very cool and trendy. If you can do free returns if the size is wrong they might be worth trying out. IMO shoes with more extreme shapes - platform soles, etc. tend to come in and out of fashion fairly quickly, but if you wear them intensely for a year or two, maybe worth it.

I think they would pair well with outfits with significant white, pale blue, and light wash denim, but might be harder with some other colors, particularly darks. Here are a few other pale blue sandals, may not be what you want in terms of heel. (I think the Asos ones you are considering are awesome though).

I'm in Canada and not close to anything. I'd have to return them to the U.K which wouldn't be cheap. Zara doesn't have anything similar. This colour blue seems to be really hard to find in a walkable shoe.

Well I like them a lot. They would look amazing with faded denim jeans as well as skirts. Too bad the sizing isn't more consistent.

I like them, but they are a lot of shoe. The blue is kind of the last thing I notice about them, to be honest, and I'm wondering what dresses you plan to wear them with, because I'm not sure they'd go with everything (maybe they would be great with your stuff though). So if you are on a budget, I'm wondering if looking for a light neutral sandal might get you more wear and longevity than focussing on this particular blue?
As a fellow Canadian I know the season can be as short as two months and sometimes I just don't like the trendier stuff 10 months later. But I'm okay with the odd trendy item that only gets worn for one summer.

The high white platform was very, very popular here last summer and I have a feeling it will still be this summer. But shoes are tricky to order online without free returns.

I'm not wed to this heel style but I definitely want this blue. My wardrobe consists of navy, black, white, grey and burgundy. I've been adding bits of this light blue to it. I already have shoes in those colours as well.

I would sub them for the third pic Rabbit posted but they are sold out. It seems everything in that colour is at forever21.

The clothes I'd be wearing them with are jeans, mini skirts, tailored short shorts and fit and flares. I have flats that I can wear but I'd really like a cute heel.

I love a platform and I've worn them every year for ages. They're a high fashion classic in my opinion, but you need to be committed to them to pull them off. If you have an edge to your style and are willing to experiment, I say go for them. You might surprise yourself.
