Blue sandals: are these weird?

I'm sorry to be a forum hog. Please forgive me.

I bought a bunch of blue shoes to see if I can de-orphan my light blue Furla bag. I like that matchy matchy seems to be more acceptable. In fact, I'm in heaven!

I've received 1-5. 2 and 5 are out due to fit/comfort. 3 and 4 are okay. I'm surprised how much I like 4. 3 is going up against 6. Only one of those would stay.

So, what do you think of 1? Do you think it's weird? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

About #1: Definitely not weird. I think it looks modern, fresh and comfortable.

Cute colour! Will look great with white and denim for summer.
I love #3 and #4, both have a different vibe, so they would have different uses. I don't find #1 weird at all, they look comfy too.

I don't think #1 looks weird. It's different, but not in a bad way. I like them, a lot.

And I like 4&6 both. Personally, I would choose 6, but I've been obsessed with slip-on sneakers lately. The d'orsay flats are really cute and if I didn't live such a casual life I'd definitely have a pair

These are all pretty different shoes, what is your target use for them? Casual, dressy, smart..? I like the sandals you're modeling a lot (very modern and fab!), but if you're goal is something more dressy then I'd go with the flats in #4. Re the sneakers they both look cute, I'd say comes down to your shoe preferences. FWIW for myself I'd opt for #3 over #6; #3 is daintier and will give a "longer foot" look versus the slip-ons which widens and visually shortens my foot, which I am OK with because I personally prefer the daintiness to foot shortening even with proportionally long feet.

I actually like the first pair best for you. They have a European look to them that seems in line with the classic looks you wear. They look very comfortable and could be worn just as easily with a dress as they could with shorts.

Aida, those are good questions. I was thinking of a sandal, a dressier shoe, and a sneaker.

4 is really cute and I think i'll keep it for the dressier option. The sneaker is between 3 and 6. 1 could be the sandal. I saw another sandal, pictured below. I haven't ordered it, though.

My favourites are actually the sandals in #1. A modern look and they look nicer on!

The Cat, Lucy, Cindy, thank you! I just wondered about the sandal coming up so high. Lucy, yes, I wear lots of denim and white in summer and bingo - outfit!

Lisa, thank you! I was thinking the same thing about them, that they might work with my EF dresses. And of course, shorts!

Angie, thank you! I just got a pedicure yesterday. I'll think some more about the sizing, but I don't think they're too big. My big toe is almost at the end.

Amazing how many you managed to find in that precise shade of blue! I vote #3 best sneaker, and I LOVE #4--so pretty. Match away!

Tulle, thanks! If I weren't trying to match, I would have come up with different shoes, I'm sure. It's really interesting to try different shoes. The other thing, I had a really hard time visualizing this color. It's baby blue with a bit of grey. It's very surprising to me that there were any shoes at all in this color!

I like the way that ankle wrap effect fits the foot. It makes for a comfy shoe. I have a similar sandal that is two years old, and they are well worn summer favorites. I like this color. I have been hunting for light blue sneakers, so I have my eye on those too.

I love all the sandals and #3 sneakers. After supplying myself with 4 pairs of red shoes, sandals, pumps, Teva sandals for beach and other stuff, and red hiking shoes, my red shoe collection is complete,,and now I find myself looking at blue sandals..Love your selections.

Humm, I have some cropped pants that greyed baby blue color and find then quite versatile. I love 1, the ones that you are wearing, the most. Between 3 and 6, keep the one that you will wear the most.

Joy, thank you. I prefer slip on shoes, but 3 is very lightweight, so that might be a factor if 6 is heavy. We'll see.

No 1 is my favourite. I prefer 6 to 3 just because they are dressier/less sporty. That said, if you actually want the shoes for sporty pursuits (eg climbing mountains to seek out eagles to observe), I would go for 3. They are very cute.

Minimalist, thank you. The sandals are Naturalizer, from Zappos. I used to wear Naturalizer in the 80s when I wore heels to work. I haven't had any in years, though.

Brooklyn, thanks. I think the sneakers wouldn't be for hiking (I really like your visual!), but maybe something like lots of walking at a festival or sightseeing. I wish Zappos had had 6 in my size. They delivered the next day, whereas Nordstrom delivers a week later.

I really like the sandals you have on. They are very nice on your foot and the colour would be great with white and faded denim. I am not a fan of ballet flats so I won't comment on those. You have nice feet so why not show off your pretty toes.

#1 and #3 get my vote.

I very much like the sandals, the colour is soft but the design adds a touch of toughness which adds to their wearability. I could see these with jeans, shorts, shirt dresses easily.
