Blue jumpsuit - yay/nay?

I saw this in PeopleStyle. I think this is the one. I'm not sure about that elastic waist tho. Is that too Senior Citizens Home?

Are those uber thin straps ok with you and are you short waisted? The "belt" band doesn't bother me. FAB color.

The straps are ok with me in this case because they crisscross in the back. I *am* ultra short-waisted, and I was thinking this jumpsuit looked like it might work for the short-waisted... The blue is not as vivid on the ASOS site as in the magazine... so I don't know about that either.

In those cases it's worth trying for sure. The blue is MORE vivid than the ASOS site shows!? That would be a Serious Electric Blue

I think it could totally work and look awesome. Also it might work with a belt, but then I get all caught up in finding the right belt (this is hard for me).

I run from elasticated waist due to my apple belly. But you are remotely not apple shaped. So a big yay!

I say go for it, Rachy. The elastic waistband doesn't feel senior citizen to me at all, but fun in a '70s kind of way.

I agree that you should try it out.

I don't think it reads senior citizen, unless you pair it with some serious comfort shoes and a grandpa sweater.

I doubt the elastic band would look "senior" on you but I have seen so many fab jumpsuits out this season w/o elastic bands.

I promise you none of the seniors in my MIL's nursing home are getting around in anything remotely like this:). Gorgeous. You need to try it. I am not bothered by the waistband because it's not to skinny and it's flat. You could always add a skinny belt.
