I thought maybe some of you guys would understand

Two days ago I was totally smitten by a bloke's outfit. I think this one beats everything I've seen in my town. I live in hippie central, so men in floor length skirts are not unusual (while rare).

Imagine a young perfectly groomed George Harrison. Slim build, long dark hair, almost disturbingly well groomed. He was wearing a forest green blazer, very slim dark pants, narrow shoes (I don't know the style name), and a black pleated knee-length skirt (can it be called a kilt if it's not tartan?). Topped off with a cross body messenger. A very chill vibe.

You guys, my head snapped around on its own accord, and my brain struggled to process it all.

I doubt this was an example of ironic hipster style we've talked about before. This was almost costumey. Maybe he was an actor? And it was outside of Macy's of all places!

If I had more time and wasn't far away, I totally would have walked up and said "You look great. Ok, bye!"
