Thought I'd clear up the confusion that creeps into the blog comments every so often. (Note that I am talking about the YLF blog - not the forum):
- It is NEVER too late to comment on a blog post. I receive comments days, weeks, months, and years after a blog post has been posted - and I see them all. They are never lost in cyber space. They arrive in my inbox right away no matter what, no matter where I am in the world. Please don't think that it's too late to comment because it simply isn't so. I love receiving your comments, and READ EVERY WORD YOU WRITE.
- I am very engaged with our blogging audience - so if you ask a question in the comments section of the blog, I will answer it either that day or the next day (depending on whether I am at home or out with a client). So check back to see the answers. I shan't leave you hanging! (Lisap is particularly good at checking back when she asks a question, and does so daily).
- I make a point of responding to all of you - either generally or specifically - because you take the trouble to comment.
- Comments with links are usually moderated because of spam detection software. Be patient if your comment is being moderated, and we will sort it out soonest.
- All comments are welcome and we don't manually moderate them actually - although many think that we do. (The YLF community is naturally very supportive, engaged and intelligent, that people think we DO moderate our commentary). Once a year perhaps, there is a very disrespectful comment that we have to moderate - but that's it.
Some of you comment on every blog post that I write - you know who you are! - and I can't thank you enough for taking the time and grace to do that. It means more to me than you know.
Happy to clear up any further confusion.
