Blinded by comfort?

I ended in in the Reiker shop again today and these 2 pairs of shoes followed me home! The last piccie (grey ones) I'm keeping but the white ones I am totally blinded by the comfort of them. They have the softest marshmallow like insoles and the toe box is so wide it accomodates my toes with no squishing I only tried them on as a joke! Are they totally grannyish? and if not can I wear them with skirts as well as trousers? x

Phew glad they're not a total flop. Not sure if my feet are getting fussier as I get older or if I know realise I don't need to suffer for fashion. Do the white ones look OK with the skirt or are they better kept for trousers? x

I love the grey pair! Those are great. The white ones are cute, but I too prefer them with the trousers (I think b/c the vamp comes up a little higher on those).

Great -- now I have to find those stats and update 2 pairs for Louise. ;p

Both are super cute - though I actually like the white ones better! Sometimes comfort can look fabulous. I prefer them with the trousers as well, or with a shorter skirt. They'd also look great with shorts (any length). Great buys!

Cute! I like the grey ones a lot! I'm not honestly crazy about the white ones although the do look nice peeking out from the dark pants.

Alas the white ones may have to be returned I've worn them around the house and the elastic across the top of the foot is a bit tight and a bit close to my leg and I'm worried it may prove uncomfortable. I've got a month to decide x

I have very fussy feet and am constantly buying and returning shoes (bought the lovely metallic ballet pumps in Clarks, they hurt and are going back tomorrow *sigh*) - if you've found comfortable shoes you love, it's a win situation as far as I'm concerned. Have you tried Skechers for similar shoes to the white ones?

Louise - have you tried stretching the elastic a bit by hand? This helped me a lot with a pair with a similar elasticated band.
