Blazers/Jackets for petites

If anybody knows of any sources for blazers and/or jackets for petites, I'd love to know. I've been looking but am getting nowhere. Thanks.

There are some at Coldwater Creek, but their blazer sizing runs big. For example, I usually wear a size 6P dress, skirts and pants; but in their blazers I usually end up wearing a size 4P or a size XSP(4-6). In their knit tops, however, I almost always wear size 8P to accommodate my 36-inch bust measurement. Hope this helps.

Are you in the U.S. Trinity? If so, I would think Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, J Crew would be good bets. Definitely check out Nordstrom - decent selection there.

On the more casual side, Old Navy and Gap both do petites. I find a lot of luck in juniors jackets though. I just size up to medium (I'm between s and xs in ladies).

I'm wearing a petite blazer right now from Nordstrom! The Gibson Equestrian Blazer (in deep crimson, which is now sold out in petites online I think). I tried the regular sizes in-store and it fit too, but not as nicely in the waist/stance.

Also, Macy's, Talbots, and Lands End. LE runs big and tends to be boxy. I think Talbots is a good bet for hourglass figures, although I returned a mail ordered canvas (or something equally stiff) blazer there in the oddest cut in the ugliest color -- which is probably why it was on deep discount! Brooks Brothers also carries Petite blazers.

TS - I've tried all of those places. They've either been out of my size or have bad reviews. I have to do most of my shopping now online. I live two hours away from any decent shopping. With three children under the age of four, my days of taking all day shopping trips are few and far between.

Mo - Thanks for those suggestions. I hadn't thought to try there. I've recently gone from working full time to a SAHM so the casual look is really what I'm after.

KL - Funny! I have that exact blazer in the same color in my closet as we speak. I received it from Nordstrom's last week and am still trying to decide if I should return it. I'm hoping to post some pics soon for input on it.

Donna - Thanks. I'll take a look at those. I have checked LE and didn't find anything.
