I remember Angie telling someone recently (in the last month) that one or two buttons is current, and that bustier gals may find an easier fit with one button. Actually, I would think that most women would find an easier fit with one only button. Higher stances are dated, and it is pretty hard even to find a three button blazer.
Collarless blazers are less likely to fight with collared shirts, but collarless blazers aren't exactly classic. . .
We are about the same height, but my legs are incredibly short and I am very long-waisted. Shorter jackets flatter me, but having seen your WIWs, you can carry off a much longer jacket. HTH.
