Black skirt, black boots and bare legs

You know what look I really like? Black boots and a black skirt, with no hose (or nude hose) separating the two blocks of black.

I just clicked on a picture of Shannon wearing that look http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....girly-army, and it reminded me of how much I like it. For some reason, it looks really attractive to my eye. A bit edgy (although I think that word has got overused). That look is supposed to be leg shortening, but to my eye, it doesn't seem it -- especially the hem of the skirt and the top of the boot fall in a flattering places on your leg. Those places would probably vary among women.

I like it on Shannon a lot. And I bet I would like it on you, too.

I kind of even like it on me, though it is harder to wear when you have lighter hair. But yeah. It works for me.

This is one of my fave combos too! I think you are right, that it depends on where the hem and the tops of the boots hit as to whether it's stumpifying. (I wonder if Greg can add that word to the electronic dictionary?)

I like it too, Aziraphale. Perhaps it is part of my overall love of "high contrast" looks. I have darker hair and fair skin, so I guess the contrast suits me. I also do not see this look as stumpifying, but I am tall and rather leggy. And… I adore the look on Shannon and she is petite. So, yeah, guess I am just digging the look.
