I have been looking for a comfy, black pair of somewhat pointy flats. Has anyone come across any ?

Hi Isabel. I have these in black reptile and they are decent. They are not what I would call 8 hour shoes, but only because I have very wide feet that aren't very amenable to being squeezed by pointy toes. If your feet are regular or narrow you will probably find them fine. You'll have to go up at least half a size though, maybe a full size. I went up 1.5 sizes because of my wide feet!

Maya has to retract her review, sadly. I originally got the 6, returned it for the 6.5 which stretched like crazy upon wearing, and had to re-exchange for the 6, which is too tight even after stretching. I just have bad feet though. I'm sure they will work brilliantly for normal feet.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that they didn't work out. I am looking at them as a comfortable option of my summer work wardrobe so hopefully they will work out for me.
