Black or taupe shoes

I've been eyeballing these LD Tuttle sandals. They have a pointy toe and an ankle strap, so right on trend for spring. Also they have a low heel.

I love the taupe for you. I think they will look terrific with your pastel outfits and softer looks, but somehow the woven leather and pointed toe gives it an edge.

ETA I love the design details but fear they are too subtle in black and would be lost.

Ah, and a closed toe! So pretty. I love the taupe; it makes the pointy toe and high vamp less severe and more spring-like, IMO.

I ,Ike the taupe best. Mi feel like it will go with more of your spring and summer outfits, will bookend your hair, and the shoe itself looks better because the details are more striking.

I have to say that I like you in black, the contrast with your blond hair. But you've also been moving in a new, less urban gritty direction... in which case, I'd go for the taupe.
