Black or brown cowboy style shoe?

One of these WILL be my winter leather shoe--but what colour??
I live in jeans all winter long so not big deal about how to style--glad they don;t come in more colour choices tho!!!!
When I do buy I will pop into the store so no shipping required!!!

I think the brown is a particularly nice color, but I'm wondering which would go best with your wardrobe?

(I have a pair of brown cowboy boots that I've been wearing since my freshman year in high school. They've been coveted by many, but I'm not giving them up! I am, however, looking for a red pair-- apparently, I was exposed to Footloose at too young an age.)

I had a pair of these when I was younger. Mine were black, but I love the brown. They also work surprisingly well under slacks or with dark tights and a skirt.

Ha ha ha what colour is my wardrobe??? Jeans coloured! LOL
I wear just real casual stuff--no job to go to yet so it's mostly mom wear in greens, browns, white, purple, black. I really lean to the brown too but then I see the black and ??????

I had a pair before but somehow lost a shoe before I got to wear them--so I have one shoe that's been staring at me for years now. It's crazy!

IMHO brown for sure.
BECAUSE:
The brown boot has a black heel and black sole edging, so its like getting both the black AND the brown! Gotta love a twofer!
I have some similar brown shoe boots, and even though I like to match or at least bookend with black, I feel comfortable wearing them with a black blazer because they have a black heel. And off course they will go with denim and all your other colors.
