Black or Brown?

I want to order the pearl choker from Angie's post yesterday, but I can't decide if I want the black rope with white pearls or the brown rope with white pearls (which is listed as orange, but it looks brown to me).
Opinions needed- yes for black, no for brown.

I would go for black because I wear a lot of black. It depends on your wardrobe though - would black or brown go better with the outfits you'll be wearing it with?

My initial thought is brown for some reason. I think from the pics I've seen of you, brown would be more versatile. It's a little softer--romantic and boho.

Along the same lines as Kelly's thought, brown is a softer, natural boho look and the black is edgier boho. Based on what I've seen you wear I could see brown working for day to day wear, but black for concerts.

That's my problem, Meredith- I wear black and brown about equally.
Does the brown actually look orange to anyone who clicks on the link?

That's not my fave brown. I actually prefer the one listed as brown, which had the silver looking pearls.

I think it looks a little like cognac, but could skew orange IRL. Maybe black is safer?

Hmm. The brown looks cognac to me, which I like.

I'm personally partial to the black with black pearls, but that's for my style. I can see either working for you, but I'm kind of leaning towards the brown because it's a little more unexpected, and would look great with your earth tones.
