Any good ones we should all know about? For those not in the US, the Friday after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year. Some people even go out at 4 or 5 am to shop the early sales.

At Gap the entire store will be 50% before 10 am! I've been eyeing up the modern boot cut pants which will be around $30.

Kristine- you can get out even earlier than that. I think Walmart opens at midnight and Kohl's at 3am.
I don't enjoy getting trampled, so I will most likely stay home on Friday. I know, I know, I'm a big black Friday scrooge.

A few stores are opening on Thursday (Toys R Us at 10 pm), and Old Navy and others are opening at midnight Thanksgiving night!

Many outlet stores have been opening at midnight the past couple of years.

Hubby and the kids are big Lego fanatics and the 50% off Lego at ToysRUs at 10pm sounds very enticing, but our weather is predicted to get nasty tonight so I'm not sure if we'll venture out.

By and large, I was able to do most of my Black Friday shopping last year on Thanksgiving night at 9 pm (since I'm on the West Coast). When the bulk of the sales started at midnight EST, that will still happy awake time for me! True, there are a few things that are in-store only, but when I can shop from the comfort of my jammies & a cuppa tea, I'm a much happier girl!

Eddie Bauer is 40% off their stores til noon. I plan to check them out for a puffer coat. Macy's is open starting at 4am by me but I am not getting up quite that early. Lucky Brand has 30% off jeans. I plan to hit a local mall by me maybe 6am or 7am til noon then scurry home before the crowds get really bad.
