My father bought me this nice made in Italy, Lord and Taylor wide brimmed felt hat about 3 years ago.

Mine has a purple velvet flower with a red rhinestone center. I want to cut it off, it's sew on, not glued. But then part of me feels strange and a bit guilty modifying it.
