Black and white dress quandary

I went over to the Gap today to look at the clutches. They are really cute and the colors are wonderful for spring and summer.
While I was there I spotted this dress.

I tried it on and it fits well and I think it looks good. I left it in the store but have thought about it all afternoon. My only hesitation is it black and white. I love that combination but I know I can overboard with it. I see wearing this dress with a blue jean jacket, white demin jacket, red or black jacket or on its on with bangles and bright shoes.

Opinions wanted is it black and white overboard or great for spring and summer.

I think black and white is a lovely and classic combination, and when the right accessories are added, it really reduces the severity of the colors.

I really like the dress, I like how the dots are a little bit "messy" around the edges. I love B&W, so to me it's a great dress, go for it!

If that silhouette worked for me, I would snap it up in a flash. It is kind of mod but classic at the same time.

ETA: I still had the window open and looked again. It is a bit short but Debbie you have outstanding legs so I think this would be an advantage for you.
