Black and leopard dress

I bought this dress yesterday and am planning on wearing it up in Boston to art galleries or out to nice bars or restaurants. Do you think it looks good? What should I do for the accessories? I have paired it with red satin heels from Nine West.

It looks lovely! I would play down the accessories and let the dress be the focus. Maybe a bracelet? I think thats all you need...

Thank you! I was worried that it would make my shoulders look wider. What about when it gets realyl cold? What should I put on my legs?

I like the idea of a chuny bracelet for now. For cooler weather, add a cropped cardigan or maybe even a white button down shirt? I'm no help on footwear for the cold, I'll leave that part to others as I am still learning too.

Love the red shoes! You look stunning. I think when the weather turns cool, it would look great with a fitted red jacket or shrug, black tights and either knee-high boots or flats. I like the combination of black, white and red.

Michelle: I don't have any dressy tall boots for the fall. I had bought a pair that I settled for, they were by no means what I was looking for. I just wanted a flat, simple, classic pair, but couldn't find them for a good price. I'm from NC and just don't really know how to wear boots without feeling, well, a little risque.

Thanks for all of the advice and feedback on the dress! I will definitely feel great when I wear it!

For colder weather, how about black tights, a closed toe shoe/boot, maybe the white button down, and a mid-thigh length black coat from JCrew. Simple earrings (studs, maybe something red?), and a chunky bracelet.

You look lovely! I don't think the dress makes your shoulders look wide at all. If you need help finding classic, flat black boots, let us know your price range and maybe we can help! Are you already in Boston? There are quite a few local stores you can try in the area. I think what you are looking for in a boot would be perfect with that dress come fall. LOVE the red shoes with it too.

What a great dress! You look young and fresh and sophisticated, all at once! I think a chunky bracelet would be a perfect finishing touch. And your ideas for "winterizing" it sound great! (Although in an ideal world, I'd do the mid-thigh coat in red or another bright.)
