For some reason, I can't reply to the knit a long thread, so I am answering you here. I looked at both yarns you are considering, and honestly I don't think either are a good choice. Cables tend to get lost in a variegated yarn like the first one- and that sweater has a lot going on in it. The second one is a mohair, which is not truly as bulky as the bulky yearns- it just has a 'halo' that fills in with fuzz. Those types of yarns tend to stick to themselves, and if you need to rip back to fix a mistake (which I always assume that I will have to do at some point in a project) it is disastrous. But that sweater is so bulky it might not be flattering on you anyway.
