Well, not entirely- I did end up with two tops, a pair of ok jeans, and a necklace. I was really frustrated and disappointed, though. I headed for the stores that Angie suggested first, and tried on as many styles as I could find. The *only* things that even remotely fit were Levi's straight leg and Gap (long and lean and curvy). I bought a pair of Levi's, mostly because of the price. They are labeled as straight fit, but they were pretty skinny on me so those will replace my old, getting too big skinnies. I didn't buy Gap long and leans because I know that the outlet has them for $30 less. Everything else either had way too low of a rise, or I couldn't fit over my booty. I had one pair of jeans that my calf was too big for- I couldn't get it up any further than that.
The big bummer is that I saw a pair of straight leg, black David Kahn's on ebay for $35 this morning, I almost bought them, but hubby told me to wait until we went shopping today. Of course, by the time we got home they were gone. I found another pair of David Kahn's on ebay- they are bootcut and a lighter wash, but they were also short inseam (which I need) also for $35 so I bought them.
I still can't find the widget to upload picture to the computer, but I got the waterfall tee from Ann Taylor Loft in a pretty berry color:
