Cousin to something in Shannon's closet, I am Suz's taupe-notch birthday present to herself (or might be, if she decides to keep, pending your thoughts).

What am I?

I will try to post photos tomorrow. Not enough light now. I do hope for your thoughts on this.

ETA: Can't get good photos today - the angles are pretty bad and light still not good. Might have to wait until next week for good shots.

You did not! Than stunning Danier taupe jacket? Ooh, I cannot wait to see it - great present.
I was seriously tempted by the black one after seeing it on Shannon. Unfortunately size M is to big and size S is a bit snug... I will enjoy it through Shannon and you!

Yup - it is the same jacket as Shannon's except in taupe.

The light is awful here...I mean REALLY awful...and I only have my phone. But in the morning the sun comes in the windows and I'll try to get some shots. I also picked up a tote bag and a small clutch!! Danier really got some business from me! I went in hoping for a tote at best. But they had the jacket in my size, I tried it on...and, well...I have two weeks to return.

Ceit, it would be brilliant in a slate blue...

You know...I would try it on, maybe in black. In my opinion it IS surprisingly knightly. I actually thought that today as I tried it on. The asymmetrical folds of leather are almost like a breast plate. In all seriousness!!

Sveta - not the snakeskin clutch. They didn't have it. I got one in fuchsia!!

Well, actually it is probably more like a hot pink, but it will do. They were having a sidewalk sale. It was $29. For that price, I figured I had nothing to lose! It has a shoulder strap and a wrist strap so can be worn that way as well.
