I'm tall so always assumed that was why but yes I always need to let the straps down. Suits I need to size up a few sizes so they stretch to my length

Talking of Bras, I had to send all mine back, they didn't fit properly. Going to try another size soon.

N, that’s discouraging! I had to put back all the ones I tried today too—they say had different fit issues, but there was something that didn’t work well with each of them, and I had several styles & sizes.

Hah, I am the opposite with bra/camisole straps. I often have to cinch them almost all the way down. Apparently the distance from the top of my shoulders to my armpits/ bust is shorter than whatever average the product designers are using.

LaPed, I never would have guessed there was that much variation! I mean, there is no standard body, some people are long-waisted, some have long legs, etc, but this particular measurement is not one I would have thought could be so different within a size. Thanks for commenting!

Yeah I suppose its like being long waisted or whatnot, I think i'm average for my height in that respect but I do think I have a big distance between my boobs and top of shoulders. I don't know if that is again average for my height or just i'm longer in that area.

Really like the esprit multi-coloured ones. Really the best of the bunch. Good job.

Wound up keeping one of the flag ones just because. Not sure how flattering it is; my ribs look like a second, lower, set of boobs, lol. I like that both top & bottom have tie closure, so fit is entirely adjustable. Didn’t wear it though—the Esprit pieces all worked quite well, though 1 bottom is the wrong size (tended to slip down if I pushed off pool wall too hard). I’m trying to find the right size now—they’re sold out online. Sister is wearing suit I gave up on for straps being too short & non-adjustable.

Thanks Nikki and Kate! I always wonder what people wind up doing after posts. With as many replies as this one got, I thought I should report back. I also kept the floral bikini top & bottom from Esprit, but don’t have any good shots of them in action. Most of the week I mixed the Esprit pieces, one solid and one pattern.
