Biker boots with skirt?

Can these go well with skirts and dresses? Or are they too rough? They are a bit wide around the ancles but i don't know if that is a no-no when worn with tights/skirt

I'd have to see them with a skirt to make sure, but I think they would totally work! I like those kind of boots with skirts and dresses. They look awesome btw. Are you going to get them?

i really like them, they fit and are comfy. they are on my wishlist and they fill a wardrobe hole. but they are a bit expensive so i need to be 110% they are right

Can they be worn as in #3 with the layers lap layered down (sorry not sure how to explain). If so I could see with skirts and dresses.

i'm not sure i get what you mean deborah, but they can be worn three ways:
- with both laps up (as ordinary boots) (#3, right)
- outer lap down and inner lap up (#3, left)
- both laps down

I like them! However, if they're expensive, I would try styling them at home in a variety of ways. Then you'll know for sure that they're worth the money.

I love them and personally would totally wear them with skirts and dresses, but I love the contrast between tough boots and girlie skirts so if you do too I say go for it x

I love them too, and would absolutely wear them with skirts and dresses. I often find I like that extra chunky grounding non-girly sort of footwear to play off gathered skirts and florals or translucent fabrics --- as well as to go with straight-cut, rugged denim or leather, of course! And they'd be lovely with chunky knits too, I suspect.

i love contrasts and never felt at home in too girly, sweet or romantic styles. i don't remember the brand but it was leather all through. i also liked that they were not too chunky in front (hard to explain better) so they had a tiny feminine feel as well<p/>great to have you back again Manidipa! i've been missing you

I think they would look cool with a shorter dress or tunic and leggings / tights. That way your leg would look longer and the boots wouldn't be stumpefying.

These look so oh so cool! They remind me of the Luxury Rebel boots that Una has and that I returned. Unless you have very slim ankles, I think they will work just fine. Even if they are a little big, a sock could fix that right up.

rae: i'm not sure i get what you mean about wearing socks. are you thinking of kneelength/overknee socks or socks that are sort of scrunched by the ancles, just above the rim of the boots?
BTW: i think my ancles are quite normal, not very thin/skinny nor thick. i've never given it thought and seldom had probl finding boots that fit. if anything, i'm a * tiny* bit wide at the widest pary of my calves

there is some room around my ancles with these boots though not too much, i think
