Yes, the guy at the Running room told me about this when I went to get new running sneakers. I'd say mine are the same size for normal shoes but I did go up in size for running. But I'm running longer distance too, and did you know your feet also swell and expand when running? Which is why my normal shoes are 8-8.5 and my running sneakers are 9.5! Lol!
It was so long ago (24 years!) but my ribcage got bigger, if I recall. I'm also short so the baby did not have a lot of wiggle room. I just expanded. I guess if I'd worn corsets rather than t-shirts, I'd have been out of luck at the time.
My feet got bigger but it turned out to be more because of the weight gain. Once I finally lost all the weight (25 years later!), I went back to my original shoe size.
My big post-pregnancy thing was that my lifelong allergies disappeared! I'd had horrible hay fever and after I had my baby it never really bothered me again! Crazy...
My feet went up a half size, even though I lost all the baby weight. Forturnately, I did not have the huge shoe collection that I have now before my son was born and only had a few pair that had to be tossed.
My feet stayed the same size. But I became multiply orgasmic. Unexpected side benefit from increased blood flow maybe? It's been 9 years and so far so good.
