Big Chunky Turquiose Necklace

I used to see so many of these at TJ MAxx and I loved them but did not buy ---and now I am really wanting one! Ours did not have a very good selection last time I looked.

After reading Angies post today I am in pursuit of a nice statement necklace in turquoise.

Turquoise is a color I wear well.
Have you seen any around for say less than $100?

Check Liz Claiborne jewelry at a department store. Last spring I got a fab, big chunky turquoise necklace from LC that is just stellar.

I do! The disk makes it more unique and it will look great with an open neckline.

I still have to get used to seeing chunkier and larger necklaces on myself, but love them on other people. Do post pictures if you get it;-)

Nice, I really like that last necklace from Bronwen Design. I'm a fan of Viv & Ingrid jewelry, and here's a unique necklace they have in turquoise:

Turquoise is my all time favorite. All the above pieces are just amazing. Turquoise looks amazing when worn with black outfits especially as the contrast works really well.

I love turquoise necklaces! I remember years ago being inspired by a woman who was wearing a perfect fitting pair of jeans, a simple white knit t-shirt, cowboy boots (this was in the Southwest) and a chunky bead necklace similar to Angie's pearls but in turquoise instead. It was so simple but so elegant in its own way.

I haven't seen many yet but I always see lots of turquoise in the summer at places live AT, the Limited, etc. Perhaps it's still a bit early? I have a really elaborate multi-strand turquoise necklace that I bought from Anthropologie a few years back - they usually have some nice jewelry. I think BC makes an excellent suggestion about ebay. I recently ordered some jewelry on ebay (from China) - it took forever to arrive but the price was dirt cheap and the quality was excellent!

You should also check out etsy.com - anything from there will be handmade items, and so they will be 100% unique. There is some amazing jewelry to be found on etsy. Sometimes I go there to look & dream.
