That hair is gorgeous.

I would say that it depends on the job as to what you do with your hair, and I would have thought that a yoga post would embrace natural hair? Or is that stereotypical!

If you're concerned, could you pull it back off your face in a sort of bun so the interviewer could connect with you better? Not straighten it, but just out of your eyes?

I would style it as you are likely to wear it if you are hired for the job you're seeking. That would be honest and true to yourself.

Yes, if I don't straighten it, I will definitely wear it back off my eyes in an afro ponytail or 2 afro ponytails or something.

I also think your hair is gorgeous and should definitely be fine at a yoga studio, although experimenting with pulling it back for an interview might put the focus on your face, but might not be necessary. I used to practice talking into a mirror and do a test run that way, lol.

Do you know the group Lion Babe? The singer is Vanessa Williams' daughter and has incredible hair that reminds me a little of this.

I think that hairstyle is absolutely gorgeous! I also think a yoga studio is likely to appreciate a natural and authentic look. I definitely think a workplace that would judge a prospective employee negatively for having an afro is on extremely shaky ethical and probably legal ground, but that is I'm sure completely unhelpful.
It makes sense to have it out of your face for the interview just so you are not having to fiddle with brushing it out of your face. Good luck with the interview!

Beautiful hair!!! I think if I were an interviewer, I would want to see more of your face. And if I were interviewing a person for a movement based position, I think I would want to see how she carried herself and held her head/neck. Is there any way you could put your hair in a loose french braid, or is there anything you do with your hair when practicing yoga?

I am another admirer of your stunning hair and hate the idea of you having to straighten it for your job. How do you wear your hair when practicing yoga? When doing exercise I wear my hair in a pony tail, but that is for my personal comfort.

Yes. They say dress like you work at the place, only a little neater. Show you know what sort of job you're going for.

Your hairstyle is gorgeous regardless. Way cool.

Wow! That is gorgeous hair. I agree with others that pulling it off of your face is a good idea to show that you understand the practicality of what is needed in the job, but I definitely love the idea of it being full and beautiful - NOT straightened. I keep picturing a high, full ponytail that is very severely pulled off of your face, with a super simple, sleek outfit that showcases your face and neck like a ballet dancer. The impact would be very sophiciticated and pulled together but also your hair would be unique and memorable. Good luck! I hope you get the job!

I think I agree with most everyone else, you should probably wear it as you would normally want to wear it when practicing yoga.
