I returned my moto TR leather panel jeans yesterday. They were too big. But I mentioned these Atomic ones to the BF casually. http://www.five13studio.com/at.....inny-pant/ He was an instant NO. I pressed a little for a why. He said they'd basically be trendy for a year and then I'd not want to wear them, in so many words. But, he's wrong. And I didn't want to get into it ATM. He has a definite dislike of full leather pants, as I've mentioned before, with the Daytona Bike week associations and all. I like them, if done right, which is tricky. Hence, my desire for a touch of leather in a jean. Suffice to say I didn't trot out the TR's for him because they were going back. I just mentioned that "we saved $170 just now."
I guess at this point I won't bother about it unless/until I find 'the' pair. At which point, I will declare it merry Christmas to me, even if it's January lol. It feels weird, in that it might be most expensive item besides my Frye boots, and it might be one of his least liked at the same time. Hmm. Add to that, he's the one working right now, not that it matters, but in my head it kinda does. He's paying my credit card, even though it's all 'our' money in the end.
