The long and short of it: size 25's in #1 and #2 yesterday at my local boutique, size 27 in #3 and #4 earlier this summer. I'm biting the bullet and trying the 26's off Amazon, hoping they'll be just right like Goldilocks.
It's more than I am usually comfortable spending, but it's been a long search, I need jeans, and I told myself this year that 12 for 12 would allow me a couple of great purchases.
Still sort of stunned after hitting the buy button.
