i'm not hot on bfs...i think i'll go cheap and get a bunch of sizes. just got the sexy bfs from the gap in a 26 and 27...vanity sizing, but that's ok.

the 26 for when i want more fitted around the thighs and wider around the calf to give the impression of looseness, the 27s for proper "baggy".

I got 26's off Denise that are fairly loose for me (I normally wear 27). I'm sure 27's would give a true slouchy BF styling, as you wear it.
Maybe ask Angie to chime in, too, as this is her BF jean of choice.

The only pics I have I'm afraid don't show the jeans too well (I was modeling the sweater lol).

I did not buy these exact TR's because they were torn and had stretch. But I did like the fit :). I bought the 100% cotton version. I wear a size 25 and bought them in a 25 (I tried these in a 25 too) - and they are still roomy. They are roomier on me than on the model and how Mo is wearing hers. I guess they run a little big.

I highly recommend the TR Camerons. I much prefer them to my Gaps because they have length. As you know, cropped pants and I have a very stormy relationship.

I have a pair of True Religion's (not Cameron's, mine are a summer weight aqua colored denim) and I love them. The fit is great, and they are nice and long without being a tall size. The ones you found are a great price.

Based on what you and Angie have mentioned, would you say they run a wee bit big? Should size down one size?

Oooh, drool! I have had my eye on the cotton ones for a slimmer BF fit... jeans are SO not a priority right now, but will I regret not at least trying them? Yikes, what a decision.

Hm, if Mo is normally a 27 and the 26 is loose, it sounds like they run about 2 sizes big for normal jeans. I'm also usually a 27 these days, so I'm thinking to try the 26s.

I don't think the size 26s look loose on Mo! They are BF jeans. I vote they run TTS - and at best one size big. Remeber that Mo is wearing her BF jeans in a fitted way.

Hoping I'm on the same page, since I was comparing to a "normal" or non-BF jean fit. Semantics always confuse me. I guess the bottom line is:

Buy regular size for a True Boyfriend Fit
Size one size down for a slim BF fit like Mo's
Size any farther down and it won't be a BF jean anymore

Yes? I was hoping to do a slimmer fit that DH might like better.

I don't consider Mo's fit loose either, Angie. It's a slim BF to my eye, which is the distressed/rolled look of a BF-cut jean without the baggy/slouchy fit. These, for example:

Yes, they are a regular BF fit if you buy your normal size. I sized down. These do stretch out, though, and fit looser than they look in my pic. Remember I actually put on 25's (2 sizes down) in the store that one time? See pics below:

Thanks for the clarification regarding sizing Angie and I forgot that you love these jeans because they have length. A longer leg is definitely NOT what a shortie like myself needs so I will pass. Fab find though Mo.

Mo, the 26s look better than the 25s so I'm glad you bought that size.

Zap, style is not a size. It's just a number - to Mo's point!
