I thought I’d share the results of “Phase 2” of my purple highlights. My stylist darkened the medium brown to a dark brown and added more highlights. I’m pretty pleased with the results. The highlights look subtle in some indoor settings, and are very bright in the sunshine. I have to own them and wear them with conviction. I’ll keep the colors through the summer – I’ll need touch ups every 2-3 weeks (big commitment) because they start looking dull and yellowish after awhile.

The style is blow dried but not flat-ironed. I thought I’d skip the ironing since my hair had already gone through so much.
