Here's a better pic of the Steve Madden lace-up boots that I got on Friday. What do you all think? I know there's a gap at the top, but I think that's a stylistic thing, as immediately below that flare the boots are tight. I just still am a little conflicted about the lace-up aspect, as it looks a little...messy to me? I think I'd prefer lots of buckles. But the boots fit well, seem comfy, and are a great distressed grayish black color. And I don't have a casual flat black boot.
