For those who've been to Japan in August, what would be the most suitable outwear piece (if at all) to bring with you? It's extremely hot and humid, with highs in the mid- to high-30s deg. C. Unless air conditioning is powerful, I think bring along a jacket or trench would still be too much. Should I just stick to a light sweater and wrap for the plane?
