Some of you have followed my quest the past days for finding a statement necklace (here and here), which ended with me finding one by a Swedish designer, which I really liked. It might not be a classic statement piece, but I wanted something original that felt like "me", and this one does! But, it was a bit too pricey for me at the moment... I talked to my best friends about it, and surprisingly they decided to give it to me as a belated birthday gift! I turned 30 in March but went to London with my boyfriend for my birthday, so I didn't meet them at the time and they didn't get me anything then, even though they had planned it. So they thought it'd be perfect to give me this gift now instead! I felt that it was incredibly sweet of them! So now it's been ordered I'm very grateful to have such sweet friends - even though material things aren't what matters most in the world, they sometimes brighten your day still..!

I will probably also look for a more classic statement piece in shops in here in my town, something cheaper that I can alternate with.
