Best crew neck preshrunk t-shirts?

I need t-shirts for spring and I am new to wearing t-shirts. I purchased some from H&M and they shrank beyond belief. Can you tell me your favorites? And why? Thanks!

AM, I love MOST of my Gap and ON t-shirt ... I have found that they wash well, hold their size and shape, and they have different styles and cuts to suit different styles. The white ones can be thin, but I find that with all t-'s these days. They have great sales and the prices aren't bad to begin with. I say 'most' because I've had the odd dud, but they are few and far between.

My favorite brands for ts are Splendid, Petit Bateau, Velvet, and Banana Republic. I like Gap cuts but I'm not sure if they shrink.

I have also had good luck with Gap tees. I like the "perfect tee", usually in a v-neck, but they make a crew as well. They hold their size/shape and last forever.

Three Dots are excellent quality, they last better than any I've ever had but they are not "modern" in cut. The fabric is thicker and the fit is close. Stains wash out, they don't shrink, all around great but not on trend, more of a classic layering tee. No need to wear a camisole underneath.

Thin and current looking, or thicker and more practical? If the latter, Lands End and LL Bean have nice ones. I haven't tried the tees from Duluth Trading but I'm sure they're the same.

A lot of my tees are from Old Navy and Target, but they're vneck. I'm sure they make decent crew neck ones too.

For balance between quality and price, I like Old Navy tees for basics. They shrink a little bit in the dryer, but not much. With my nicer tees, I hang them to dry.

i used to love the gap and BR for basic white tee's. but had horrible shrinkage with all the gap tee's i bought last summer. for weekend basics, i love target, great price/value. i also like the everlane vneck (haven't tried the crew). i've got a couple of long sleeve tee's from the loft this fall that i really liked, so i'll try there this spring for short sleeves. and i haven't ordered from this brand yet, but they are on my radar for spring -giant, (someone else, i think rabbit, recommended them in a similar post last year)

I'm currently wearing and loving tees and tanks from Current Elliott.

I also have a couple from Splendid that I like.
