Best color shoes for Spring/Summer?

I am looking for a new pair of flats to wear with jeans.

The jeans that I have are dark blue denim, white, black and tan. All the flats I have now are black, brown and burgundy. I see lots of fun colors out there but not sure what color goes best with my jeans. I am looking for just one pair (that will be a challenge) so color has to "go" with all.

So - What color flats would you recommend for spring/summer?

oops, forgot to mention that I ALWAYS carry a handbag. The color of my bags are raspberry, turquoise and yellow. So carrying the question further, what color shoes to go with my jeans AND handbags.

nude shoes are really in this season. That might be a nice addition to your collection. Or, you could try for turquoise-- it's a really versatile color too.

I would go with nude, a metallic, or an animal print. If you wear a lot of prints for tops, skip the animal print, but if you mostly wear solids, this could give you a fun splash.

For metallic, stick to pewter or bronze - most versatile.

I luv metallics for the warmer months! Each year, I get a lot of mileage out of my pewter sandals.

I bought these rose gold flats thinking to wear them with my white and cream bottoms, but I was surprised that I also liked it with my darker jeans.

Metallic for sure. Nude or tan are also good.

Another vote for metallic. I just bought pewter flats and I have no idea how I managed without them before. They work with everything I own - particularly my denim.

I'm also loving nude/tan or metallic footwear for summer. Another choice is light grey.

I agree with the rest.. mettalics are great! however I just bought a nice sun-flower yellow slip ons.. hv been wearing it with almost anything and everything. like a grey/white top, blue jeans, yellow foot-wear and turq blue or rasberry pink handbag! with some fun earings to go with..! thats my style..

I so agree with the metallic look for summer.

We are just coming out of summer and I bought a pair of metallic flats that I have absolutely worn to death. They work with everything I own and were a great buy! (Sadly, they will be going to shoe heaven soon as I think I loved them just a tad too much. RIP beloved shoes.)

If I could just buy one, go with anything pair, I'd choose bronze. If I could afford a second pair of flats, I'd choose red.

I've been observing the "street style" here in the Bay Area and metallics seem to be in the lead.
