This is a great thread! All of the 17 pieces I added to my closet in 2021 were winners. That is not always the case!
The rich earth tones seem to be easier to find. A lot of the colours I like were available at retail, which made me very happy. I need to stock up.

Some of the big winners were:

Terracotta down bomber - Lululemon
Burnt orange linen shirt - Power of My People
Burnt Sienna cotton cardigan - Tradlands
Brown plaid shirt - Power of My People

No matter how much I think transforms my style every new year. I end up making little to no changes.
I really want to dress up stylishly. Does anyone have any advice on how can I pull off a stunning look every day?
Btw, I liked the collection shared by Angie a lot. I tried to click on the website showing on her profile as well hoping to be landed on the amazing collection she shared. But that didn't happen.
Angie, if you're reading the comment. Do share your website link for me.

Yes, any of my Islandic sweaters and especially a sweater dress have become workhorses. Marmot snow pants have been warm and valuable this snowy season. Velvet pieces have been a revelation. Warm but dressy they are wonderful additions. The jury is still out on a flannel shirt worn over a graphic tee. The casualness and warmth are fine but I find this combination a bit too masculine for me. I am happy with most of my full length pants for winter. These were mostly consignment buys as was about everything added to the cold weather wardrobe. Another instant workhorse was white Sorel-like Ryka snow boots with faux fur letting and toggle closure for laces. They are very light weight and comfortable for long walks. They were a steal at Nordstrom Rack. Now I am looking at spring/summer refreshers but it may be too early yet as it is snowy and cold. The snowiest months are ahead of us. I did replace grey snake flats with a pair with ankle straps.

As posted earlier, most of my purchases last year were shoes or underwear. I’ll spare you the undies finds, but will say I’m quite happy with nearly all of them. On shoes, I am still into the red clog sandals but wear the flat white ones (bought basically as a placeholder after an extensive search) more. I love my “school shoes” too and wore them a bunch when it was warm out. Clothing-wise, my pinstriped jeans and golden plaid jacket are winners.
